Volunteers are vitally important members of every Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America community. Whether it is helping out with a resident’s daily needs or activities, or serving on a special committee, volunteers can make a difference. There are as many possibilities for volunteer activities as there are individuals. Just a few of our volunteer opportunities include leading a crafts group, leading an art appreciation or exploration class, reading a story, writing a letter or helping with errands. In as little as one hour a week, you can help make a difference while making new friends.

Fort Scott Presbyterian Village has an active community advisory council. Representing diverse backgrounds, professions and service areas of interest, the advisory council may offer recommendations about the community’s policies or services, provide insight and guidance relative to the needs of the local area, and represent the views of our constituency in public discussions and with elected representatives.
